Global Data Specialists was contracted through Booz Allen Hamilton to install Fire Alarm Reporting System (FARS) upgrades at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
GDS's Installation Scope
The legacy fire alarm reporting system was due for replacement. GDS installed the reporting panels for 24 fire alarm systems across the base over three trips between March and June 2026.
GDS prepared installation plans and quality-control documentation for inspection and commissioning, and coordinated the work with Booz Allen Hamilton and the equipment supply team.
Program Context
The FARS work was part of Booz Allen Hamilton's Thunderdome program, a DISA zero-trust initiative. GDS's role was the local installation at Andersen.
