GDS Notes
- This is a MOSCAD reference, separate from the MOSCAD-L and ACE3600 manuals. Confirm the CPU, power supply, chassis and I/O labels before using a chapter for field work. Some communications and I/O options require additional documentation.
- The manual covers replacement tasks that can be performed on site for the equipment it describes. It does not establish current parts availability or the feasibility of a particular repair. Provide GDS with the observed fault, diagnostic messages and full part number for a repair review.
- When modernizing the installation, preserve the application backup and existing drawings. Map the old field signals and communication interfaces to the proposed configuration, then define acceptance checks before the changeover.
