SCADA Telemetry Radios
SCADA Telemetry data is typically transmitted over a variety of communication methods including analog/digital two-way radio, dial-up modem, point-to-point microwave, 3G/4G public or private cell networks, and Ethernet.
Radios and RTUs make a powerful combination for data transmission over long distances, over all types of terrain, and over potential obstructions such as mountains, woodlands, or buildings. Radios last a long time and do not incur ongoing operating expenses that other data transmission methods do. If radios are well-suited for the SCADA application at hand, they are the preferred choice.

Used widely for SCADA applications, the Motorola MotoTRBO radio is a conventional analog mobile radio that is available in VHF, UHF, and 800MHz frequency ranges. Motorola Vertex Standard
